Usage of PMH Forum

Post  ylfoo on Thu Apr 10, 2008 11:31 am

When you take a look at the member list, you will find that only 16 ppl register in this PMH forum. Don't you think this forum is just looks like a private party thing? I understand that not many ppl are using internet, especially older-age ppl. But, just 16 members seen like.........forum is not working as it is.

Better we promote this forum more so that more ppl are taking care of what we are doing.

Thank you very much for your inputs. We sent flyers to every door of 481 units, more than twice we remind the residents about the forum.

Anyway, we will continue to do that again. Kindly share the forum with your friends and neighbors. Regards.

I would like to suggest having the notice board moved into the elevator lobby (i.e. on the pillar or elevator lobby) so everyone would be able to view/read them while waiting for the lift, much more accessible.

Perhaps a big font banner carrying the address "Latest news @ http://pmhc.forumotion.com"

I think because majority owners don't use Internet, only probably their children. Also, many are just passive readers rather then play active role to discussing any issues. Nevertheless, everyone are tied up with their personal life or work. I'm in situation too, but I do take time to read up and post any topics of concerned.

Regarding the notification, it would greatly help as there are some new owners just moved in. Maybe we could put a permanent notification on the notice board so that whenever there are new owners they will know where to find this forum.

As for moving the notice board, I suggest putting it at B1 wall opposite the Lift entrance....so whenever people go in and out, they can read it rather then at 1st Flr. This is because all owners have car park lots in the basement. As for tenants, sorry to say this, most tenants could careless what is going on as it does not concern them directly. Just my 5 cents opinion. Cheers. Very Happy

Hello to all,

1) Notice board has been relocate to level 1 lobby. B1 lobby new notice board is in progress. Appreciate your patient.

2) We started off as protem committee in PMH, and I(owner) volunteer my self to setup this forum. The main purpose of this forum is to provide a room for discussion, and sharing idea. Besides that, we are also using this forum to share information, and to keep the residents update on the activities in PMH. Unfortunately, we were tied up to earns a living, ends up all of you are more active than we did. pale

Hope that answer your question.
