Intersection Road Resurface Near Block A
Just a suggestion. I have noticed that the intersection near Block A heading towards basement car park B1, the pot holes always reoccur even after surface repaired. I suggest when we consider resurfacing the entire road for PMH, can this intersection be considered with interlocking bricks like how they use it for construction site main entrance. As construction site, they have many heavy lorries going in and out carrying heavy loads and those interlocking bricks can sustain the abuse and wear.
Also, another feature is, if require any replacement or repair can be easily done with our maintenance people then to keep on hiring external contractors to do the repair work. Also the cost for repair is reduce as individual brick can be replaced as compared to tarmac where the entire area have to be resurfaced.
Installation would be quick too. However, we may need to be caution on the sand used between the bricks as they may clog up the drains if not properly restrained during installation.
This are examples of what interlocking bricks I'm referring to:-
