Cockroaches
This may sound odd or worse, it may sound like my unit is dirty. But despite regular cleaning & cockroach baits, they still appear every couple of days. So far I've mainly seen the small baby ones which I kill all the time. They seem to always be in the kitchen counter top or cabinets. Turning everything upside down to clean and wipe still does not reveal their hideout. Which leaves me to assume that they are crawling from out gully trap from the sink since it is always moist and wet.
Therefor, I would like to know if anyone else in Block B is experiencing the same problem. This has been going on for the past 2 months or so.

Re: Cockroaches
The same thing happens in my unit as well. We tried the same approach as you did, and the result remain unchanged. I think you are making a logical guess here. Lets see what other says..

Re: Cockroaches
I will bring this matter up with the management. If at all it is a pest problem, we may have to see if we can engage a pest control company to eradicate this issue. We will let the JMB deliberate on this this issue and see the best possible solutions available.
At least now I know I am not the only one facing this problem

So far, when we are not using the sink, we use the cover provided for the sink to close the hole. We only remove to let the water flow when we are using. And not surprisingly, now they appear at the toilet sink area. So I am pretty sure they are from our waste pipes. Now I have resorted to closing the toilet sinks when we are not using as well. So far, this has work.
But will see what we can do for long term solution.
