A separate guard house check point for visitors?
I guess most of the residence would agree with me that it is frustrating to queue and wait at the guardhouse entrance for visitors enquiry and registration. I try to be patient, as i understand that it is the security;s job to ensure visitors go thru the right procedures before entry. However i find so unnecessary to hold back the rest of the residence queieng at the back. I proposed that the Committee look into buidling a separate entrance for visitors. Eg noted are the guardhouse checkpoint at Sri Maya Condo at Jln Jelatek. Residence has a separate lane, they just need to swipe in while visitors will go thru checkpoint procedures at the guard house.
I know space issue may be challenging, but i guess it can be worked out, trash out the walking lane & move the "residence entrance" at the other end..... or the space towards the end of the hill?
The other point for improvement is the entrance to the lobby to each block. Well, I am embarrassed that my visitors have to wait for us to come down n open the glass door for them, otherwise they have to "sneak in" peeping other residence from the back. Well, i dont see the point, if the visitors pass thru the guardhouse checkpoint, there is no reason why they are not allowed to assess the lobby and take the lift straight up to the destination. I have noted a system in Sri Maya condo Jln Jelatek (again ;p), there will be a speaker phone at the entrance of each lobby. The system allows the visitor dial up to the residence unit number, and after "verification", the residence can press the button from the unit (attached together with the "guard phone") and the lobby door will be opened for the visitor. Voila, isnt that much more efficient....
Thank you for hearing me out here, and please take these as a point for improvement for all of us.
